I think Vigilance’s sensors need a tune up or an upgrade. Sabotage may be in play.

Also, I think you meant “en route”

Well, at least it’s not a boring date.

Who else can brag about seeing a giant sea monster on the first date?

    1. Fam fam says:

        1. Rusty_Horns says:

… is it just me, or do giant Godzilla monsters feel out of place in this universe? Idk with all the futuristic robots and human drama it kinda gave a vibe that I don’t associate with over the top B movie monsters, even with the comedy and cuteness. Though then again, there are humanoid animals walking around. Though I kinda assumed that was the result of people willfully getting genetic modification or something to fulfill their fursona, so it kinda worked for me in the setting still.

they had been mentioned a few times prior in the comic.

they are a little odd I’ll admit but one thing I do wanna clarify: demis and dagonians are their own races. This doesn’t take place on Earth, or at least not the Earth we know, despite some similarities.

Dagonians are an aquatic species that integrated with land-based societies a while back. They’re not actually related to humans. Demis (like Collet and stuff, kinda like faunus in RWBY) have been part of society for an even longer period of time (and are closer to humans than dagonians).

This makes me wonder what year PV02 is supposed to be set in.

        25th century, I’d imagine.

  4. Judeo says:

    >Hey, Pivot!
    >Try not to draw too much attention as you get away from the Kaiju!
    >Higher elevation can prevent too much interference coming from obstructions.
    >…Also, how did Gladys find out before Relay?
    >…The Kaiju has forward-mounted eyes…that means…oh SH*T…
    >It’s a predatory Kaiju!
    >Whatever you do, Pivot, DON’T MOVE TOO FAST!
    >*sighs*(She’s going to screw up, is she?)

    1. John says:

I think It was mentioned that Gladys was visiting family earlier… and that the kaiju have been destroying their undersea citites

      1. Judeo says:

She (Gladys) also did mention that there are kaiju migrating and moving along the coastline, but nothing too serious at the time. Something must have disrupted or caught their attention.

I wonder what Gladys meant when she said she’d “make sure everyone’s safe here”.
