Socket no

Bad idea

Also, goddammit, schedule was missed. WordPress fails to post sometimes.

I really wish there were more a failsafe for this.

Hm…. maybe if socket hit him from the side of the neck with the edge of the tray?

  3. DragonGem says:

robots can also carry the virus without showing symptoms because their already machines.

    1. Anonymous says:

I looked it up and found it was called scp 217-the clockwork virus, normally, this would excite me because I’m a huge scp fan, but not when i run into a keter class object. I found it can spread before I started showing symptoms, and it can infect any animal, but each one is effected differently.

      1. DragonGem says:

I had to learn this the hard way

  4. DragonGem says:

try replacing her mechanical insides with organic ones. That would be extremely painful.

For me, having my insides turned into machines (unwillingly) wasn’t anywhere near as painful as having them changed back.

it was because some weird virus was turning my body into clockwork.

for you humans it takes years before you start showing symptoms. but for us dragons, the process is complete within two weeks

the plate (or whatever it was) would have been more useful as a shield than a weapon.

  6. Anonymous says:

She tried but main problem Father is probably a robot. Last I checked conking a robot on the head or trying to choke them (cough Captain America cough) is going to work

  7. Anonymous says:

i just mean the pathogen can also infect humans as well

  8. Anonymous says:

And no I dont mean any humans were infected so far.

  9. Anonymous says:

is pivot infected with the cp (cyber pathogen)? Because she already showed the symptoms from the first four stages, fatigue, memory loss, agression, and malfunctions (when the AMPs weren’t working), the next four are disorientation, power difficency, overheating, and finally, system failiure. ( humans show the same symptoms)

    1. Judeo says:

Plot wise, it would be weird to add it in without any foreshadowing on the writer’s part. But then, the robot rampage down at the mall would have been sufficient evidence for its introduction since those zom-bots were somehow bought to rebel against the operators.

Or it’s the human subconscious that was left in the AMP after Piper died(for the second time).

Pivot never manifested fatigue due to sleep deprivation before until she had that AMP. She started becoming more expressive throughout the comic. Normally, she’d be calm and logical, but she went full panic mode when she saw Socket at the casino. Then she froze up in dread when she first saw Hivemind. It’s her human subconscious in the AMP telling her “DON’T GO WITH HIM”. Her memory as Piper eventually resurfaced when she was asleep.

      …She’s basically Pivot…

…But also Piper…though she denies it.

And whether Pivot likes it or not, she’s literally the only bot designed to counter Hivemind.

To quote Dr. Inara Vocis: ENTRY009
“I’ve immediately begun work on a second body for her, one with countermeasures and a more unique system to prevent him from doing so in the future.”

      1. Anonymous says:

actually, come to think of it, the only way to neutralize the pathogen is to zap it with an EMP powerful enough to completely fry a square mile of power grid, and that’s only enough for an individual nanobot (the pathogen is actually an entire hivemind of nanobots) also, the nanites can adapt to literally, any host. so it’s hopeless either way

      2. Anonymous says:

the fatigue symptom was at the first page

        1. Judeo says:

The fatigue I was mentioning was at 039 – Rough Night, the morning after Collet slept over at Gladys. I don’t understand how Pivot had fatigue on the first page. She was unconscious due to an EMP countermeasure revealed at 102 – Memory 01.

    2. Judeo says:

Regarding fatigue, she never manifested fatigue until 039.

Regarding memory loss, Pivot was hit with an EMP prior to 001, causing said memory loss.

Regarding aggression, she is not aggressive. She simply exerts bravery…or impulsiveness. She does think on her feet and not throw punches whenever possible.

Regarding Malfunctions, she does not have a clear grasp of how the AMP works. There are times she can use her abilities and there are times she gets new ones. Perhaps more will be revealed in time. The only thing we know is that her AMP powers are influenced by emotional state.

        me:

        also me:
hmm.. yes.. pornhub looking bunny robot is an android of dead girl who was killed by the same guy the robot version is made to kill

….. is that self defense or murder?

        1. Lulu says:

of course some secret HTML stuff screws it up. I said me: [ reading through this] then the also me part…….. thats actually really bad, I would try and fix that before someone tries to abuse it.

      2. Anonymous says:

I can’t argue with that (even though i don’t understand a word you just said)

      3. Anonymous says:

i looked up “robotic pathogen” and the closest thing I found was something called “SCP 217- the clockwork virus”. WTF does “SCP” mean?

        1. DANNY1 says:

O BOI GET READY FOR A WORLD OF SPOOPS AND OHS AND MAYBE SOME AWWS AS YOU DELVE INTO THIS NEW UNIVERSE THAT U HAVE JUST DISCOVERED

  10. Alien says:

I think Hivemeind somehow control pilot or compels pilot to work for him
And this series is sooo great excellent work

There’s no way a guy named “Hivemind” doesn’t have backups of himself.

C’mon Pivot, nothing to win by staying – the door’s armored, but the walls and ceiling could be either way.

    1. Zarvain says:

That is the thing most folks planning out these places overlook…but then again so do most protagonist/game developers.
*gives the player character a hand canon and effective unlimited ammo also blocks the path with glass sliding door*
Why do I have to solve 15 puzzles for a key again?

  12. HollowRetirbution says:

    At least socket teied

  13. Anonymous says:

I got him o wait mission failed

  14. Knightshade86 says:

I applaud that socket tried but I can not fathom how she thought hitting an android/cyborg with a serving tray would be any bit effective.

  15. ZATAN_GAMER says:

    Socket used tray attack

    It’s not very effective

  16. Anonymous says:

well… at least you tried socket XD

  17. Judeo says:

HM: I have something to say, but she’s rather busy. Tell her we’ll speak again, alright?
    Socket: Uhh, okay?
HM: Great! Thank you very much for your service, miss, but I have to be going.
    Hivemind escapes.
    Pivot destroys the last robot.

    Pivot: HRAAAAH!
    Barrier busted through.
Policewoman: Hands where I can see ’em!
Pivot and Socket raise their hands.
    Sgt. Andre enters the scene.

    Andre: *sighs* Dammit.
    Gyro steps in.
Gyro sees exit on the floor.

    Gyro: Sorry.
Andre: It’s alright, big guy. We’ll get them.

    1. ZATAN_GAMER says:

      Is that true ?

    She protec
    She attac
But most importantly, Socket gave HIVEMIND a smacc

…I really hope this has no repercussions for this particularly precious Cinnamon Bun in the immediate future.

Rosie Palms? Or stick up the butt? You do sound like the expert in these matters, so do go on.

…on topic, next question, where did Bulwark mode come from anyway?

        1. Spore Cannon says:

Seems like an extension of Breaker, looking at the structure – it’s got the same shape, but the sides of the arms open out into shields.

  19. Stone says:

    . . .
Well at least Hivemind has the decency and enough comedy sense to comment on Sockets actions instead of shooting her right in her cute face.

    Yeah.

Let’s hope he won’t want to hurt her now that he knows Socket is not recording anything. Kick his tin-can-butt PV!

  20. Daybreaker7 says:

Good on Socket for at least trying, but Pivot had better hurry before H.I.V.E.M.I.N.D returns the favor.

  21. Torch says:

Watching Hivemind’s reaction to Socket is a bit amusing but I really hope she doesn’t get herself in any more danger for it.

  22. Caeser says:

What matter is that you tried socket
And you are so cute while doing it

  23. Commodore James says:

    Socket tried to hit

    It didn’t have any effect

    🙁

    1. Anonymous says:

      Father used intimidating stare

      It was super effective

      1. Anonymous says:

        Pivot used Fuck You!
        It was super effective!
